Thai Express Kitchen offers Edinburgh foodies a relaxed dining and licensed bar, centered around an open kitchen, with expert wok chefs preparing to order and using fresh, seasonal produce.
Edinburgh Restaurant features Scotland’s first example of two-story restaurant seating – inspired by a popular setup across South East Asia.

The launch is an exciting time for Uzma and Sachin Pattani, who introduced the ‘Thai Express’ brand to 300 UK outlets in 2012.
As the first Thai Express ‘kitchen’, Edinburgh will be the eighth and largest establishment, with the dining room being a much more important element. The St James Quarter restaurant joins similar bustling places including Croydon, Wembley and Birmingham.
The opening marks the moment when Sachin, 42, who has overseen the site’s £ 500,000 transformation, hands over operations to his team of 35 who will oversee the day-to-day running of the site.
