Cooking and baking competitions will also take place during the two days of the food and drink festival. The 2019 event attracted 3,500 visitors, and this year’s edition in the famous market town is expected to be even more popular as we gradually emerge from the pandemic.
Local traders wishing to get involved and host a stand can register their interest here. Downtown is bound to be a hive of activity and those looking to do even more this weekend with the family can enjoy the entertainment at Market Walk.
Chris Sinnott, Deputy Chief Executive of Chorley Council, said: “It’s always great to see so many visitors to the town center enjoying an event which promotes the brilliant food and drink offering in Chorley. Chorley is a force to be reckoned with and I can guarantee that everyone who attends the event will be able to taste some amazing food and drink and even get tips they can use at home.”
