Opening of permanent Chet’s restaurant in Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush

Chet’s, a collaboration between the Hoxton and Kris Yenbamroong, the man behind Night + Market Thai wine and food in Los Angeles, is currently operating as a four-month pop-up restaurant at the Hoxton Holborn. Kick off at the hotel’s wine bar and Rondo La Cave incubator site in May, the residency must end in September.

Chet, which translates to “brother” in Thai, is inspired by classic American comfort food, but combined “with the fragrant flavors and textures of foods from Thailand and surrounding regions.”

Current menu items include fried chicken with red-eye and ranch dip; crispy rice salad; a chiang rai hot dog with chili topped with fried shallot, onion, pickle and cilantro; a smashburger (pictured) featuring a pork and beef patty with American cheese, Chet’s secret sauce, chili, pickles and cilantro; and pad rigatoni sautéed with prik tum, prawns, egg, onion, tomato and seasoned
with golden mountain sauce.

It also serves a limited range of wines and cocktails, including a cilantro martini and a lemongrass-lime spritz.

Designed by Ennismore Design Studio, The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush will have 237 rooms and is expected to open in winter 2022.
