EaseMyTrip Expands To Philippines, US, Thailand As Travel Recovers

Based in Delhi EaseMyTrip has spread to the Philippines, Thailand and the United States of America, establishing wholly-owned subsidies, as it aims to tap the pent-up travel demand created by the pandemic.

While the travel and hospitality industry has come to a standstill since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, since the rollout of the vaccination, people have now resumed traveling. Revenge travel has given airlines, travel booking portals and budget hotels a boost in all geographies.

This is the second phase of the travel booking portal’s expansion, the first being in the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and the United Kingdom, according to a statement the company filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

“The Philippines, Thailand and the United States represent a significant portion of our international vacation package business and we are excited to enter these markets for this new phase of global expansion. With strong travel demand driven back across the globe, we see a larger global market opening up to travel, and we believe EaseMyTrip is well positioned for explosive growth internationally, ”said Nishant Pitti, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, in La version.

The travel portal will also launch its own search engines in the international market. One of these engines is already in service in the United Arab Emirates. Countries like Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines will follow.

Over the past 13 years we have built a solid foothold in Indian travel and look forward to launching our unique business model and replicating our success in these global markets as well. EaseMyTrip offers a zero convenience fee option on bookings, which most travel portals charge, to its customers and claims to be cost effective. The company was founded in 2008 by a business graduate Nishant Patti and Rikant pittie, BTech graduate from Kurukshetra University.
