There have been 8,452 new cases of Covid-19 and 57 additional deaths recorded in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health announced on Wednesday morning.
The number of new cases fell from the 7,706 announced on Tuesday, when the country recorded 66 more deaths.
On Tuesday, 8,449 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since April 1, the date of the start of the third wave of Covid-19, Thailand has treated 1,846,452 Covid-19 patients, of which 1,730,871 have recovered to date.
Since the start of the pandemic early last year, there have been 1,875,315 cases of Covid-19, with 1,758,297 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 18,827 in the third wave and 18,922 since the start of the pandemic.
