Thailand has registered 14,109 new cases of Covid-19 and 122 more deaths in the past 24 hours, the public health ministry said on Saturday morning.
There were 13,255 cases in the general population and 854 among inmates.
On Friday, 13,280 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since April 1, the date of the start of the third wave of Covid-19, Thailand has treated 1,434,038 Covid-19 patients, of which 1,290,101 have recovered to date.
Since the start of the pandemic early last year, there have been 1,462,901 cases of Covid-19, with 1,317,527 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 15,152 in the third wave and 15,246 since the start of the pandemic.
The record 24-hour Covid-19 death toll in the kingdom was 312 on August 18. The highest number of cases was 23,418 on August 13.
