Thailand has recorded 11,975 cases of Covid-19 and 127 deaths in the past 24 hours, the public health ministry said on Saturday morning.
Of the new cases, 11,883 were among the general population while 92 were found in prisons.
On Saturday, 14,700 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus.
Since April 1, the date of the start of the third wave of Covid-19, Thailand has treated 1,520,422 Covid-19 patients, of which 1,381,176 have recovered.
Since the start of the pandemic early last year, there have been 1,549,285 cases of Covid-19, with 1,408,821 complete recoveries to date.
The death toll stood at 16,049 in the third wave and 16,143 since the start of the pandemic.
The one-day toll peaked in mid-August, with 312 deaths on August 18 and 23,418 cases on August 13.
